I used to teach botany, and plants will always hold a place that is dear to my heart. They have also played a central role in my art, first by keeping me drawing while I worked in science full time, and, more recently, by helping me hone my practice in different media. 

This is not so much a cohesive body of work as a subject I return and add to on occasion. Different pieces have been on display at Victoria International Airport, Gage Gallery, the Coast Collective Art Centre, the Federation Gallery in Vancouver, the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Washington DC, and the Sooke and Sidney Fine Art Shows.
