Illustrating Tides

I decided to do another poster for the Island Illustrators’ Big Canadian Stuff project, and this time, the subject I picked was not a place. I decided to do tides – more specifically, the world’s biggest tides, which are¬†found at the Bay of Fundy, between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. At the head of the Bay of Fundy, the difference between high and low tide can be 16 metres, which is pretty crazy.

Only two of these are actually from the Bay of Fundy, but the East Coast has some truly spectacular scenery!
